DESIGNREISEN is a tour operator specialized in highly individual
luxury holidays with customers all over Germany and abroad
(e.g. Austria & Switzerland). DESIGNREISEN has firmly established
its reputation as one of the market leaders in Germany´s
luxury holiday market. The last years have shown
the name of the company has become synonymous with quality
holidays and first class personal service.
The most important drawback of previous company’s website
was out of date design and lack of responsiveness.
Old project had also unattractive design
so the need of improvement was obvious. The main target was
to help in being inspiring benchmark within the luxury travel
industry by underlining core values and reaching out to
customers on a more authentic and emotional level.
Therefore we focused on: lifestyle, emotional brand language,
sales orientation, awareness, and unique product placement,
but at the same time enhancing the technical user
experience by making use of complex new features.
The client has been already using TYPO3 CMS before
the relaunch so the new website with new design and features
just make administration and editing more complex than before.
We conducted a lot of integrations and used many
extensions to meet client’s expectations. In order the website
to load faster, there was also the need to optimize
the website because of rich graphic design. We are still
working on mobile version for DesignReisen.
