Maconnector is an integration platform we built and keep developing ourselves. It connects ERP, PIM, e-commerce, DAM and other systems into one ecosystem, where data moves automatically and on a schedule, and you can see what is happening to it.
It is not a one-off integration written for a single project. It is a product we deploy on every project that exchanges data with a source system, and it stays with you afterwards, together with its panel, its history and its alerts.
If you are looking for the category name: this is an Enterprise Service Bus. What sets Maconnector apart from a generic ESB is that it is tuned for product data and for the systems we actually meet in trading and manufacturing companies.

We will build a connector for it inside our platform. That is a meaningful difference from saying “we have a ready connector”: the work on our side is real and we price it honestly, but the result is another Maconnector module rather than a separate script living its own life. The platform is source-agnostic and speaks to APIs, files and databases.
The same applies when your ERP has no API at all. Files or a database become the exchange point, and the rules for what moves and when are still described in the same panel.

Panel and monitoring
The most expensive integration failure is the one nobody knows about. Maconnector has its own web panel showing the state of every process, the history of its runs and the reason a given record did not go through. An error report carries context, not just an exception number.
Technical detail
Processes are described as jobs, triggered on a schedule or by hand. A job is a sequence of reusable steps following a fetch, transform, write pattern. The same step serves many processes, so a new integration is largely a matter of assembling existing blocks.
Processing is asynchronous, through a queue. A multi-hour full catalogue import therefore does not block the stock synchronisation running every fifteen minutes alongside it.
Data mapping is handled by a declarative engine, with no code: type casting, text operations and regular expressions, conditional logic, dictionaries, arithmetic, dates and transformation chains. When the ERP renames a field or adds an attribute, the change is configuration, not a release.
Security and hosting
Always on your own infrastructure, in a Docker container. Every client gets a separate instance. Product data, price lists and customer records never leave your environment, and Maconnector talks to the ERP directly, over an API or SQL.
This answers the question that comes up in the technical meeting anyway: there is no shared cloud holding several companies' data side by side.
On B2B projects Maconnector works alongside our two other products: the Maco B2B package, which gives the platform its wholesale selling features, and the price engine, which calculates individual price lists in real time. Maconnector is what keeps both of them supplied with current data.
