Macmillan Education portal

We partnered with Macmillan Education, a leading English language teaching publisher, to design and develop a new corporate website for them. Recognizing our previous work in the education industry, Macmillan Education trusted us with the whole project lifecycle: from discovery workshop to the post-launch maintenance.

Translate complex content structure into a mobile-first app that’s engaging and easy to navigate. The platform had to be tailored to the needs of multiple local Macmillan Education teams.

  • Accessible and Comprehensive Online Resources for Mobile Users

The website contains a lot of valuable content for people who want to learn English: product catalogs, school aids, information about upcoming events and training for teachers. The content must be easily accessible, especially for mobile users.

  • Hi-Fi Prototyping and User Expertise

Designing the app was a very efficient process, as we used hi-fi prototypes to iterate the interface options together with the client. We used our expertise in building complex eCommerces to design a navigation structure that makes sense for the users and is also optimized for SEO.

Macmillan Education’s new mobile-first corporate app was launched on time and met with positive reactions from their users.

We’re about to partner with Macmillan Education for their next innovative projects.

  • Progressive Web Application

We used our signature technology, PWA for TYPO3, to create a web app that feels like a native mobile app. Progressive Web Apps can be feature-rich and complex, yet their performance is stable and amazingly fast even with poor Internet connection.

  • Powerful Content Management System

Macmillan Education operates in many regions, with each producing their own content. We optimized the CMS so that all local teams can work independently and provide unique value for their audiences.
