Dermatic is a leading provider of aesthetic medicine products, offering innovative solutions for both professionals and individual clients. The company serves a wide range of brands and products available both in Poland and international markets. With the increasing demands in product data management, Dermatic reached out to us for the implementation of a modern PIM system to meet the standards of the aesthetic market.

Challenge:

  • Complex Product Structure

    Dermatic’s products span a wide array of aesthetic medicine categories, requiring a flexible and precisely tailored product data structure.

    It was essential to connect the PIM with the ERP system Symfonia, Magento, Shoper, WordPress, and Baselinker to ensure data consistency and automate product management across multiple sales platforms.

    The company was seeking a way to automatically calculate loyalty points (Beauty Coins) for products, in line with the rules of the loyalty program available on the Dermatic platform.

    Dedicated export profiles were necessary to enable seamless transmission of product data to other sales channels.

Solution:

The Akeneo Community implementation project for Dermatic began with a thorough pre-implementation analysis, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of the product specifics and the company’s needs. Based on this, we designed a solution tailored to the aesthetic medicine market's demands.

  • Product Data Structure Modeling

    We analyzed Dermatic’s product catalog, creating a PIM structure customized to complex categories in aesthetic medicine, such as dermocosmetics, fillers, and other professional products. This made product data management more intuitive and easier for the team.

  • Integration with ERP Symfonia, Magento, Shoper, WordPress, and Baselinker

    We connected the PIM with the ERP system Symfonia, enabling automatic transmission of up-to-date product data. Additionally, integration with Baselinker facilitated data synchronization across multiple sales channels and e-commerce platforms. Connections with Magento, Shoper, and WordPress enabled the delivery of product information to online stores and product pages.

  • Automation of Beauty Coins Calculation

    We implemented an automatic mechanism that calculates the amount of Beauty Coins based on product attributes. This system helps efficiently manage the loyalty program, increasing customer engagement on the platform.

  • Data Export Profiles

    We developed dedicated export profiles for product data, allowing for quick and consistent publication of product information in sales channels.

  • User Training

    We conducted a series of training sessions for Dermatic employees, enabling quick adaptation to the new system and enhancing productivity and the quality of product data management.

Outcome:

The Akeneo implementation for Dermatic significantly improved product data management. Integrated systems and automations greatly enhanced the quality and consistency of data transmitted to sales channels. Dermatic users gained access to a centralized, consistent source of product data, enabling efficient management and promotion of products across multiple countries.
